Ενα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στη γλυκιά γιαγιά μας

 κα Μαρίνα Μαλλιωτάκη που με αγάπη και υπομονή έφτιαξε και μας χάρισε τρεις υπέροχες κούκλες να μας κρατούν συντροφιά!

ROAD TO REDUCTION

 

 

Pupils from all around Europe will learn, through a variety of activities, food saving actions, ways to transform leftover meals, cultures of each country tastes (Christmas traditions), create a school laboratory of organic recipes, tree planting (planting trees is a direct action to counteract climate change), recycling and running for a good cause with the title “let's fight the climate change”.

The main objectives are:

- make our students and their families aware of the importance of fighting against climate change

- promote and carry out actions in school that are in line with food saving and the fight against climate change

-Create awareness about environmental issues and actions that can be taken for its protection

-Improve digital and communicative skills

-Promote creativity (Do arts and craft reusing materials).

 

The results we intend to achieve are:

-To make responsible use of internet, to learn and communicate with peers

-Ways to transform leftover meals, so as students and their families make verifiable changes in their daily routines to favor the care of the environment

-Take care of their surrounding nature (tree planting)

-Learn why it is important to recycle or reuse

-Create eco-friendly products (hand cream, natural garden products,…)

-Campaign in favor of running for a good cause titled “let’s fight the climate change” to reduce air pollution due to daily commuting and other energy-consuming habits.

 

ACTIVITIES

 

●     October - planning, teachers live meeting, project logo making. Introducing          participants.  E-safety: Get parent’s permission to use images and videos of pupils. Let’s create a logo that shows the reduction of food waste, recycling, planting….Pupils of each school draw their images and vote the 1 per school that wins (Each school votes only one). In the end there must be 11 images, since we are 11 schools. In an online election, all participants vote the winning image from the 11 images. This will be our project’s logo.   
           

●     November-each participating center will send a presentation video to the other schools of the project . To make this video, schools will travel to important places in their city or region to show others not only who we are, but what the place we live in, is like[1]  We split into groups and the pupils draw a sighteeing of the other country, the one they liked most and post it in a collaborative padlet.
           

●     December-each partner school shows what Christmas traditions they have in their country/region, creating something unique as a product to show (traditional sweets, create decorations and Christmas cards with reusable and natural materials)[2] [3] [4] 

●     First live meeting of pupils and teachers before Christmas holidays.
           

●     January-Food saving actions. Each school will be proposed to compost before throwing away the organic remains of the breakfast or canteen (schools that have a canteen)and throw this compost in the school garden or on the land around       schools. The cooperation of families will be requested, so that the impact is greater.[5] [6] 
           

●     February-Each school poses a leftover meal and partners propose solutions       to transform it (padlet presentation)
           

●     March- Laboratory of organic recipes. Share recipes in teams for creating eco-friendly products (hand cream, natural garden products,...) at       school that students and teachers can take home and share with their families Live meeting with Greece to show to other partners a simple recipe from an expert.
           

●     April-tree/planting.   Each participating school will travel to an area of their region that they believe needs reforestation and plant trees and endemic         flora to help improve the area, If it’s not possible to travel,let’s plant the school garden [7] 

●     22th of April. Earth day commemoration. Please add your suggestions on how to celebrate Earth day.             [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] 
           

●     May-running             for a good cause - “let's fight the climate change”. Each          participant organizes running or cycling with pupils and parents.[14] We may gather food to donate in an organization in need, with the help of parents

●     Evaluation of the programm from pupils and teachers

 

 

COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITIES

-Exchange reusable and natural materials Christmas cards via email or online (padlet)

 

-Collaborative padlet with sightseeings of partner’s town, with comments/subtitles of pupils. Each school makes a presentation of their country, and uploads it in the common padlet. After separating in international teams (for example: Greece and Serbia etc.), Greek pupils draw the sightseeing they like most of Serbia’s town and Serbia pupils draw the sightseeing they like most of Greece’s town.

-Each school poses a leftover meal and partners propose solutions to transform it (padlet presentation)

-Laboratory of organic recipes. Exchange recipes (hand cream, natural garden products,...)with partners and create a collaborative recipe ebook

-Common day of running or cycling.  Campaign in favor of running for a good cause titled “let’s fight the climate change”. Share photos on a collaborative padlet and comment to the participating schools.

-Share photos of tree-planting in our school garden or region, in a collaborative padlet and comment to the participating schools.

-Dissemination: Share in the school’s web page/teacher’s blog the activities of the project

My pupils work from home and live in different towns and islands, so this would be individual work from our side.

Suggestion for Christmas or greeting cards for some other important date: recycle paper and insert flower seeds into the recycled mixture. After that, decorate the greeting card as desired and explain that after the holiday, the greeting card is torn into a pot with soil, watered and waited for the plant to grow. Thus, it will monitor the growth and development of the plant as well as the conditions necessary for plant life.

Dear Cecilia thinking of engaging the parents to this activity. We may request families gather the organic remains of one week, and write down how much they weight. In a form teachers of each school, gather the amount of organic waste so as pupils and their familes get aware of the importance of fighting climate change

We did individual tree hug or planting last year, we have a garden at school but our children are spread around te islands.

For Earth Day, I suggest a Treasure Hunt game.

The aim of the activity is ambient learning through cross-curricular connection. The students were divided into teams in the classroom, given instructions: carefully read the papers on which the tasks are written...follow the tasks from the pieces of paper that will lead them to the "treasure" located somewhere in our school yard or some other area.

Adapt the tasks to the activities and acquired knowledge from the project. The winner is of course the team that finds the "treasure chest" first.

Thank you Jelena. How about creating international teams to treasure Hunt? For example, Greece is one team with Serbia. Serbia creates the tasks and Greece solves them. By the other hand Greece creates different tasks and Serbia solves them. The evaluators of eTwinning want as much collaboration as possible between the partners.

Dear Despina, my mistake, I didn't think in that direction at all 🤷... maybe one of the partners will have a better idea, and I will definitely come up with something to connect the teams as much as possible 🙂

I love the idea of treasure hunt. I need help to try to figure out a way to do it.

It's true, maybe we can come up with the way you said, for each team to make questions for the other teams and at the end of the quest, each team finds a part of the puzzle, which when all the teams complete the tasks and the parts "come together" gives one picture... something that will be like an evaluation panel of everything we've done...

This is especially difficult for us to organize as our pupils are not in the same town, maybe we can do it virtually with Minecraft or some other app, but not physically.

ΔΡΟΜΟΣ ΣΤΗ ΜΕΙΩΣΗ

 

 

Μαθητές από όλη την Ευρώπη θα μάθουν, μέσα από ποικίλες δραστηριότητες, δράσεις εξοικονόμησης φαγητού, τρόπους μεταμόρφωσης των υπολειπόμενων γευμάτων, πολιτισμούς κάθε χώρας (χριστουγεννιάτικες παραδόσεις), δημιουργία σχολικού εργαστηρίου βιολογικών συνταγών, δενδροφύτευση (η φύτευση δέντρων είναι άμεση δράση για την αντιμετώπιση της κλιματικής αλλαγής), ανακύκλωση και τρέξιμο για καλό σκοπό με τον τίτλο «ας καταπολεμήσουμε την κλιματική αλλαγή».

Οι κύριοι στόχοι είναι:

- ευαισθητοποιούμε τους μαθητές μας και τις οικογένειές τους για τη σημασία της καταπολέμησης της κλιματικής αλλαγής

- προώθηση και υλοποίηση δράσεων στο σχολείο που συνάδουν με την εξοικονόμηση τροφίμων και την καταπολέμηση της κλιματικής αλλαγής

-Δημιουργία ευαισθητοποίησης για περιβαλλοντικά ζητήματα και δράσεις που μπορούν να γίνουν για την προστασία του

-Βελτίωση των ψηφιακών και επικοινωνιακών δεξιοτήτων

-Προωθήστε τη δημιουργικότητα (Κάντε τέχνες και χειροτεχνήστε επαναχρησιμοποιώντας υλικά).

 

Τα αποτελέσματα που σκοπεύουμε να επιτύχουμε είναι:

-Να κάνουν υπεύθυνη χρήση του διαδικτύου, να μαθαίνουν και να επικοινωνούν με συνομηλίκους

-Τρόποι για να μεταμορφώσετε τα γεύματα που έχουν απομείνει, ώστε οι μαθητές και οι οικογένειές τους να κάνουν επαληθεύσιμες αλλαγές στην καθημερινότητά τους για να ευνοήσουν τη φροντίδα του περιβάλλοντος

-Φροντίστε τη γύρω φύση τους (δενδροφύτευση)

-Μάθετε γιατί είναι σημαντική η ανακύκλωση ή η επαναχρησιμοποίηση

-Δημιουργήστε προϊόντα φιλικά προς το περιβάλλον (κρέμα χεριών, φυσικά προϊόντα κήπου,…)

-Καμπάνια υπέρ του τρεξίματος για καλό σκοπό με τίτλο «Ας καταπολεμήσουμε την κλιματική αλλαγή» για τη μείωση της ατμοσφαιρικής ρύπανσης λόγω της καθημερινής μετακίνησης και άλλων ενεργοβόρων συνηθειών.

 

ΔΡΑΣΤΗΡΙΟΤΗΤΕΣ

 

● Οκτώβριος - προγραμματισμός, ζωντανή συνάντηση δασκάλων, δημιουργία λογοτύπου έργου. Παρουσίαση των συμμετεχόντων. Ηλεκτρονική ασφάλεια: Λάβετε την άδεια των γονέων για χρήση εικόνων και βίντεο μαθητών

 

● Νοέμβριος-κάθε συμμετέχον κέντρο θα στείλει ένα βίντεο παρουσίασης στα άλλα σχολεία του έργου. Για να φτιάξουν αυτό το βίντεο, τα σχολεία θα ταξιδέψουν σε σημαντικά μέρη στην πόλη ή την περιοχή τους για να δείξουν στους άλλους όχι μόνο ποιοι είμαστε, αλλά και πώς είναι το μέρος που ζούμε. αυτό που τους άρεσε περισσότερο και το δημοσιεύουν σε ένα συνεργατικό padlet.

 

● Δεκέμβριος-κάθε συνεργαζόμενο σχολείο δείχνει ποιες χριστουγεννιάτικες παραδόσεις έχει στη χώρα/περιοχή του, δημιουργώντας κάτι μοναδικό ως προϊόν για επίδειξη (παραδοσιακά γλυκά, δημιουργία διακοσμήσεων και χριστουγεννιάτικες κάρτες με επαναχρησιμοποιήσιμα και φυσικά υλικά)

● Πρώτη ζωντανή συνάντηση μαθητών και εκπαιδευτικών πριν από τις διακοπές των Χριστουγέννων.

 

● Ιανουάριος-Ενέργειες εξοικονόμησης τροφίμων. Σε κάθε σχολείο θα προταθεί να κομποστοποιήσει πριν πετάξει τα βιολογικά υπολείμματα του πρωινού ή της καντίνας (σχολεία που διαθέτουν καντίνα) και θα πετάξει αυτό το κομπόστ στον κήπο του σχολείου ή στη γη γύρω από τα σχολεία. Θα ζητηθεί η συνεργασία των οικογενειών, ώστε ο αντίκτυπος να είναι μεγαλύτερος.

 

● Φεβρουάριος-Κάθε σχολείο θέτει ένα υπόλοιπο γεύμα και οι συνεργάτες προτείνουν λύσεις για να το μεταμορφώσουν (παρουσίαση padlet)

 

● Μάρτιος- Εργαστήριο βιολογικών συνταγών. Μοιραστείτε συνταγές σε ομάδες για τη δημιουργία οικολογικών προϊόντων (κρέμα χεριών, φυσικά προϊόντα κήπου,...) στο σχολείο που οι μαθητές και οι δάσκαλοι μπορούν να πάρουν σπίτι και να μοιραστούν με τις οικογένειές τους Ζωντανή συνάντηση με την Ελλάδα για να δείξουν σε άλλους συνεργάτες μια απλή συνταγή από ειδικός.

 

● Απρίλιος-δέντρο/φύτευση. Κάθε σχολείο που θα συμμετέχει θα ταξιδέψει σε μια περιοχή της περιοχής του που πιστεύει ότι χρειάζεται αναδάσωση και θα φυτέψει δέντρα και ενδημική χλωρίδα για να βοηθήσει στη βελτίωση της περιοχής. Εάν δεν είναι δυνατό να ταξιδέψουμε, ας φυτέψουμε τον κήπο του σχολείου

● 22 Απριλίου. Εορτασμός της Ημέρας της Γης. Προσθέστε τις προτάσεις σας σχετικά με τον τρόπο εορτασμού της Ημέρας της Γης.

 

● Μάιος για καλό σκοπό - «ας πολεμήσουμε την κλιματική αλλαγή». Κάθε συμμετέχων οργανώνει τρέξιμο ή ποδήλατο με μαθητές και γονείς. Μπορεί να συγκεντρώσουμε τρόφιμα για να τα δωρίσουμε σε έναν οργανισμό που έχει ανάγκη, με τη βοήθεια των γονέων

● Αξιολόγηση του προγράμματος από μαθητές και εκπαιδευτικούς

-Εργαστήριο βιολογικών συνταγών. Ανταλλάξτε συνταγές (κρέμα χεριών, φυσικά προϊόντα κήπου,...) με συνεργάτες και δημιουργήστε ένα συνεργατικό ebook συνταγών

-Κοινή μέρα τρεξίματος ή ποδηλασίας. Εκστρατεία υπέρ της υποψηφιότητας για έναν καλό σκοπό με τίτλο «ας καταπολεμήσουμε την κλιματική αλλαγή». Μοιραστείτε φωτογραφίες σε ένα συνεργατικό padlet και σχολιάστε στα σχολεία που συμμετέχουν.

-Μοιραστείτε φωτογραφίες από δενδροφύτευση στον κήπο ή την περιοχή του σχολείου μας, σε ένα συλλογικό padlet και σχολιάστε στα σχολεία που συμμετέχουν.
